Important Notes
- If you did not receive your e-ticket, please arrive earlier for accreditation.
- Mixed weigh-ins: T-shirt and shorts. A 1 kg allowance applies.
- Finalists AND bronze medalists must report to location 7 at 15:45.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Regular Divisions
A multi-stage pool format:
- Pools of 3–4 athletes
- Top 2 advance to quarter- or semifinals
- Regular divisions award one bronze medalist
Open Class
- Double elimination system
- Three bronze medalists
- Winner takes the entire Open Class prize pot
RULES (EN / NL / DE)
The official rules are available in English, Dutch, and German.
CLOTHING REQUIREMENTS
- No-gi clothing: T-shirt/rashguard + shorts/leggings
- Tight-fitting shirts mandatory for safety
- Wrestling shoes allowed but not required
LIVE RESULTS & BOUT ORDER
FINALS & AWARDING
The finals of the Lichtstad Open Takedown Tournament are staged as a showpiece event with lighting, music, audience presentation, and a ringspeaker.
Finalist Call-Time
- All finalists AND bronze medalists must report to location 7 at 15:45.
- Finalists will walk onto the stage with music.
- We have a ringspeaker, so as soon as you qualify for the finals, report to the head jury once you have caught your breath to provide your announcement details.
- BRONZE medallists will also have to give their details for the medal ceremony
Final Shirts — ULTIM8 Jerseys
- Every finalist will receive an official red or blue ULTIM8 Jerseys final shirt, matching the corner they are assigned to.
- These shirts must be worn on stage during the walk-in and the match.
On-Stage Award Ceremony
Immediately after every final:
- Gold, Silver and Bronze medalists step forward for the official podium award ceremony.
- All medalists then take an official Combat Supps photo on stage.
- Afterwards, athletes may join the post-fight interview area, individually, with fellow medal winner, teammates, family or with their coach.

During the Lichtstad Open Takedown Tournament, official event photographers and videographers will be present to capture the atmosphere, matches, podium ceremonies and promotional footage.
